Amla is treated as the aspect of Lord Sri Maha Vishnu. It is always advised to have Amla at home. This is a strict compulsion in Hindu homes to have Amla at least in any one form like fruit, juice or powder. It acts as a fertility booster in women and libido enhancer in men. Amla deals better with Tridoshas namely Vata, Pitta and Kapha and balances them. Amla also increase the longevity and gives youthfulness.
