Where Does Goddess Lakshmi Reside?

Goddess Lakshmi is the symbol of wealth in Hindu Scriptures. She emerged from churning of the great ocean and became wife of Sri Maha Vishnu.

She is said to be the one of the incarnations of Aadi Shakti, the primeval goddess.

Goddess Lakshmi resides in the homes that are cleanest, where guests, elders and teachers are treated with utmost respect, in the house in which lamps are lit before sunrise and where no one sleeps in the evening times.
