2. Temple at the verge of peaceful waters
One of the most famous lakes in Kerala is the Periyar Lake. It divides into two in a village Aluva of Ernakulum district. One tributary flows in the temple of Lord Shiva, and the other one flows near the Datha Anjaneya Swami temple. Yajnas and sacrifices are done here widely.
