నారాయణం నమస్కృత్య నరం చైవ నరోత్తమమ్ ।
దేవీం సరస్వతీం వ్యాసం తతో జయముదీరయేత్ ॥
ఓం అథ సకలసౌభాగ్యదాయక శ్రీవిష్ణుసహస్రనామస్తోత్రమ్ ।
శుక్లామ్బరధరం విష్ణుం శశివర్ణం చతుర్భుజమ్ ।
ప్రసన్నవదనం ధ్యాయేత్ సర్వవిఘ్నోపశాన్తయే ॥ ౧॥
యస్య ద్విరదవక్త్రాద్యాః పారిషద్యాః పరః శతమ్ ।
విఘ్నం నిఘ్నన్తి సతతం విష్వక్సేనం తమాశ్రయే ॥ ౨॥
వ్యాసం వసిష్ఠనప్తారం శక్తేః పౌత్రమకల్మషమ్ ।
పరాశరాత్మజం వన్దే శుకతాతం తపోనిధిమ్ ॥ ౩॥
వ్యాసాయ విష్ణురూపాయ వ్యాసరూపాయ విష్ణవే ।

కిమేకం దైవతం లోకే కిం వాప్యేకం పరాయణమ్ ।
స్తువన్తః కం కమర్చన్తః ప్రాప్నుయుర్మానవాః శుభమ్ ॥ ౮॥
కో ధర్మః సర్వధర్మాణాం భవతః పరమో మతః ।
కిం జపన్ముచ్యతే జన్తుర్జన్మసంసారబన్ధనాత్ ॥ ౯॥
