What is the importance of Rudraksha?

Rudraksha possesses some mystical powers which is why it is used extensively by Sadhakas. Any spiritual practice is incomplete without the usage of Rudraksha. Rudrakshas are used as sacred beads in rosaries. Rudrakshas are worn as bracelets and around the neck stringed with a silk thread. Rudrakshas are said to have healing properties and they are used in different ways in spiritual practices and treatment of certain ailments.
