3. Placements for idol of Lord Ganesha at home
- As it is known before, north east corner is the right place to install the idol of Lord Ganesha. If no place is available at this corner it has to be taken care that you should face north or east while worshiping Lord Ganesha.
- Outside the puja mandir you can place the idol of Lord Ganesha in the directions of East or West for better visibility.
- It is strongly advised not to place the idol of Lord Ganesha near bathroom or washing place as we shed off all the impurities.
- Though you should not place the idol of Lord Ganesha in the bedroom, north east corner is considerable to have one
- Idols of Lord Ganesha made of mango, neem and peepal tree wood are very auspicious to keep at home
- Ganesha idol made of cow dung and turmeric attract powerful positive vibes into the house
- Place a small statue of Natya Ganapathi made of Silver or Pancha Lohas at your workplace to spread vibrancy and positive energy
- Lord Ganesha should accompany mouse and modak and a small bowl of rice should be placed before his idol which brings prosperity into the house
