3. Why people belong to the same gotra won’t marry?
As said earlier people belong to the same gotra were considered as the same family. As children of same father are brother and sister in the same way people belong to the same gotra were also considered as brother and sister. That’s the reason why before fixing a marriage they consider gotra as the main reason. Only different gotras people marry.
