Why do we go to temples?

3. Temple premises which spread positivity

Usually temples are opened at pratah kala or early morning at brahma muhurta when the morning rituals start for the deities with giving them bath and offering food. Then the priests recite vedic mantras. The sound of vedic mantras will drive away all the negative energy around. The ringing of the bells produce omkara which alerts and keeps our mind stabilised. It increases focus of our brain and lets us calm down for a while. The water bodies near the temple such as temple pond observe all the positive energy and that is why people take a holy dip in the teerthams.
