2. Where did Apsaras come from?
Have you ever wondered where did they come from…! They emerged out of the Kshreera Samudra a the time of churning it. Lord Indra received them along with Airavata – the great White Elephant, Uchaisravam – the five headed White Horse and Kalpa Vruksha – The celestial tree which fulfils every desire. There emerged 30 beautiful women who are called Apsaras and one more Apsara named Urvashi was created by Lord Vishnu himself.
