5. How many types of Vibhuti are there?
There are five types of Vibhuti
- Bhasma – White in colour
- Vibhuti – Grey in colour
- Bhasitam – Black in colour
- Ksharam – Dark Grey in colour
- Rakshayani – Blood Red in colour
Kapalikas and Aghoras wear ash from the cremation ground. Everyone else wear ash from the homa.
