3. When to wear Vibhuti?
Vibhuti can be worn at the time of all the auspicious ceremonies like yagnas, homas, marriages and at the time of daily ritual or nitya puja. One should not take teertham and prasadam without wearing vibhuti or kumkuma on the forehead. Having Vibhuti on the forehead at the time of auspicious happenings brings good luck.
