Dwija Ganapathi
2. Depiction of Dwija Ganapathi
Dwija Ganapathi is sixth of the 32 incarnations of Sri Vinayaka. Dwija means born twice. We all know about Upanayanam. Mainly Brahmins and some other communities wear yagnopavitam and unpanayanam has to be done to wear that sacred thread. Upanayanam is considered as the rebirth of a man. So this manifestation of Sri Vinayaka is called as Ganapathi.
Lord Dwija Ganapathi shines bright in cream colour like moon. Ganapathi appears like Lord Brahma with four heads and four hands holding Kamandalam, Rosary, Spear and a book.
