2. Ravana – A warrior, scholar, technologist and much more
Almost every Indian and everyone around the world who knows the holy epic, Ramayana, knows the mighty King Ravana. Ravana is portrayed as a bad guy. But very less know that he was a great scholar, scientist, musician and sophisticated king in every aspect. He is known as Ravana Brahma as he is the direct descendent of Lord Brahma. Ravana was a Brahmin. He gave this world Ravana Samhita, first and foremost explanatory book regarding Vedas. But his great knowledge and all the good qualities were diminished due to his lustful actions.
